San Fernando Valley Business Journal

Loop Media Inc. has signed a deal to distribute 19 music video channels through DistroTV, an independent free streaming television service.

Also, the Glendale short-form video distribution company will make available to DistroTV, in San Francisco, compilations of top movie trailers from its Trailer Channel and atmospheric and travel videos curated from the Drone Channel.

Ryan Parr, Vice President of Linear at Loop Media, said that the partnership represents an opportunity to further expand the company’s viewer base.

“Our extensive library of music videos combined with our drone footage and movie trailers will create an engaging viewing experience for DistroTV’s customers,” Parr said in a statement.

DistroTV offers a wide selection of news, movies, television series and other entertainment content for viewers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

Loop Media distributes a library of 500,000 music videos plus film, television and game trailers that it makes available to restaurants, bars, casinos, cruise ships and other public venues.

Shares of Loop Media (LPTV) closed Tuesday up 8 cents, or 3.8 percent, to $2.19 on the over-the-counter market.
