Loop Media set to join Russell 2000®, Russell 3000® and Russell Microcap Indexes

Business Wire

GLENDALE, CA –-Loop Media, Inc. (“Loop Media” or “Loop”) (NYSE: LPTV), a leading multichannel streaming platform that provides curated music video, sports, news and entertainment television channels for businesses, is set to join the broad-market Russell 3000® Index, as well as Russell 2000 and Russell Microcap Indexes, at the conclusion of the 2023 Russell indexes annual reconstitution, effective after the US market opens on June 26, according to a preliminary list of additions posted May 19.

Annual Russell indexes reconstitution captures the 4,000 largest US stocks as of April 28, ranking them by total market capitalization. Membership in the US all-cap Russell 3000® Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the large-cap Russell 1000® Index or small-cap Russell 2000® Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.

“This is a significant moment for everyone associated with Loop Media to be selected to join the Russell 2000, 3000 and Microcap Indexes within our first year of being listed on the NYSE American,” said Jon Niermann, CEO and Co-Founder of Loop Media. “It really is recognition of how far Loop has come in a short period of time to become a state-of-the art streaming television and digital signage company that brick-and-mortar businesses have come to rely on for entertainment, curated customer experiences, engagement and brand loyalty. Advertisers and agencies are also seeing the unique highly targeted value that Loop provides as part of their CTV and Digital Video media mix. With Loop’s inclusion in the Russell Indexes, Loop’s profile will have increased visibility and awareness within the investment community, as well.”

Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies. Approximately $12.1 trillion in assets are benchmarked against Russell’s US indexes. Russell indexes are part of FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider.
