What do you get when you pair up a former Marine with a Disney executive?

Loop Media, the only platform that offers a constantly curated playlist of music videos to both businesses and consumers.

“It’s been a wild ride,” said Shawn Driscoll, who joined the Marine Corps when he was 18 “to grow up.”

Driscoll served as a legal service specialist in the Corps in 1991 and 1992. He left the Marines after being injured in a training accident.

“The Marine Corps instills something in you that you don’t get anywhere else,” he said.

About six years ago, Driscoll noticed a major gap in the entertainment industry — music videos were still extremely popular; but without MTV and VH1 producing them, the genre was suffering.

“I come from a music background,” he added. “My dad was an artist.”

The realization led Driscoll to partner with longtime EA and Disney executive Jon Niermann to form their company.

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, today Loop Media is focusing on helping newly-reopened restaurants, bars, retail stores, and other venues by streaming short-form content such as music videos, movie trailers, and sports highlights.

Loop Media enables businesses to keep customers entertained as they adjust to social distancing rules,” explained Driscoll.
